About

Built by an engineer, not an agency

I'm Will Brock — a software engineer based in Dunedin, FL. For 15 years I've built the kind of software that thousands of people rely on every day. I don't just advise on technology. I build it, and I hand you something that works.

The background

Fifteen years building software people count on

For most of my career I built and scaled the software that school districts across the country use to run every day — the systems behind enrollment, grades, payroll, and daily operations for thousands of staff and students. When software like that goes down, real people feel it. So it has to actually work, every single day.

Leading that work, I managed teams of 60+ engineers and built the systems that let us safely ship new versions of our software hundreds of times a day without breaking things. And as AI became genuinely useful, I didn't just talk about it — I put it to work inside those live systems, in environments with strict rules about protecting people's data, where a wrong answer simply isn't acceptable.

That's the difference. I've put AI to work where mistakes have real consequences — not in a demo, not in a sandbox.

Now I bring that same standard to businesses of every size. A local auto shop deserves the same quality of work a big company gets. A 10-person law firm deserves AI that actually gets built and used — not a strategy deck that sits in a drawer. That belief is the whole reason this exists.

How I work

A few things I believe

Shipped beats perfect

Every project ends with something that works and is in use — not a PDF or a roadmap that never gets built. Real delivery over theory, every time.

Honest about fit

If I'm the right person for your problem, I'll tell you. If I'm not, I'll tell you that too — and point you somewhere better. No selling you something you don't need.

You work with me

No account manager passing messages to a junior you never meet. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it.

Real, not hype

I'm not interested in AI that dazzles in a meeting and falls apart in the real world. I build things that hold up under real use, real data, and real customers.

Track record

What I've actually done

AI running in production every day — doing real work for real users, not demos
Led and trained 60+ engineers across large software teams
Built the systems behind hundreds of safe software releases a day
15 years scaling software relied on by school districts nationwide
Worked in strict data-protection environments, including student-data (FERPA) rules

Same discipline, on and off the clock

Outside of building software, I'm an endurance athlete — half marathons and a half Ironman. It's not unrelated. The things that get you through mile 11 are the same things that get a hard project shipped: show up consistently, do the unglamorous work, and don't quit when it stops being fun. I bring that to client work, too.

I'm based in Dunedin, Florida, and I work with clients nationwide — remote or on-site. Whether you're around the corner or across the country, the standard is the same.

Let's build something that ships

Whether it's a website, an automation, a custom app, or AI in your business — the first step is a quick, honest conversation. No pitch deck, no pressure.
